Seguin model kit found.

Quite a few years ago I did some work on the Destroyer Escort kit. I designed and made the patterns for the hedgehogs and other accessories. I took some of their ship model kits in return; one being the Seguin. When we moved the kit ended up on a very high shelf in a closet. I just discovered it last week.  I am not sure what to do with the kit; build it, sell it or trade.  Discussions and suggestions welcome.

Looks like a neat kit; personally I’ve also thought tugboats were an interesting subject so my vote would be build it. However if the finished model isn’t your cup of tea I’d sell it (my gut thinks trading maybe tricky to find someone with a kit you like who wants this). Good luck!

I might plunge back in and build a Tug Boat! It's been a long time but I might give it a try even at 83 years old and all thumbs

83?  You are just at a starting point. I'm 901/2, still going (slower)  You just have to learn to work with thumbs.

My new work shop. My last build I had an air conditioned garage with a giant work table. This is in a spare bedroom since an un air conditioned garage in Arizona is not livable

Rich,

I hope you have a window, because I didn't have any cooling in garage until lately.

The two windows I have in the garage is facing south and west, in my building corner.
And made it unbearable to be in during summer time.

There are various brands out there, so do your research.

Then I got this and it works wonder.

Bill,

That must have been quite a pleasant surprise to discover a forgotten ship model kit hidden away! As to build or not to build,

I think you should construct it - it'd be a great addition to display. Off topic, have you finished the Mary Celeste yet?

Still working on the MC.  I took a little break…  Also doing some mental work and research  on the La Toulonnaise; looking for the proper carriage for the cannons.
