Whoa - just finding this one as well - I think this kit came out at the same time as the Corel Greyhound - how does this one compare - I remember the instructions and plans of Greyhound being very sketchy....

just playing around with the kit which i haven't touched for a considerable amount of time. the gun carriage is a white metal single cast with a separate barrel. to be fair they dont look too bad once a bit of colour is added.

Looking good Harlequin! This kit seems more sensibly designed than Greyhound. Are the strips supplied for second planking narrower? The first planking strips seem very wide for the scale - though the planking work itself is very good!

fixed some of the second planking and a start has been made on the deck planking too. The white metal capstan isnt too bad a casting....will need some filing and paint but should look ok. A metal primer will be applied before any paint

A little further on with Peregrine. I always try a little furniture as I progress. Staircases not fitted yet. I am using all the cast metal fittings with this kit to see how Corel intended their finished article to look like..warts and all. The castings aren’t that bad actually, just need a few touch ups.

Nice build. I like the idea of a small ship, as display space starts to get tight after a few builds. I'm interested to see how this turns out pretty much straight out of the box. So far, pretty impressive.

Under construction: Mamoli Roter Lowe

Completed builds: Constructo Enterprise, AL Le Renard

Up next: Panart Lynx, MS Harriet Lane

In need of attention: 14-foot Pintail in the driveway

the only thing i am changing is the second planking width.....going for 3mm planks instead of the kit 4mm planks
