The War Trophy by RGL - FINISHED - diorama with Fowler D6 steam tractor (DModels) and Krupp 21 cm Mörser (Takom) - PLASTIC

So nice finished the little Minenwefer, I’ll give it a clear coat then rust the hell out of it. My plan is to submerge it in a puddle.

Then the two French soldiers from Copper State Models. One has a black leather jacket and on a brown leather jacket. Next is a clear coat to set it so I can do the belts and scarfs.

Really nice Greg,  you  have  a  nice blend  of  paint  -  shadws and  Highs   there,   did  you  have to do  many washes  or  high lighting  to them.

So this is the plan, to sculpt the road on the side of a hill, the lower end being a shell hole full of water with a little mortar in it with a rope attached to the steam winch; then a hill behind with a refugee family around a fire

Sounds like a  Great  dio  mate,  lots going on.

Next is to seal it in; I’ve cutout a  shell hole which will be filled with water and the little mortar half submerged. I’ve also added a wash along the side of the road which I can add running water to

Next is to fill the gutter with poured resin which will Katherine’s in and I can make it look like it’s quite the river

Getting there. More barbed wire required, I won’t use the bigger mortar dirty mud and sludge to go too .

Considering  Dioramas  are  not you  strong point   -  you  are  doing an Excellent  job on this   Superb work mate.

So as part of the trophy hunter theme, lots of spares on the blade of the howitzer. I will run a rope from the rear of the winch at the back of the tractor running down to the little mortar

That scene is well appreciated up here in the normally cool mountain of western North Carolina. We're high 80s/low 30sC today, other parts of the eastern US are well into the 90s/mid 30s. I spent the weekend in northern Alabama. where it was a juicy 96F/35C with high humidity, making for a very bad Heat Index.. The diorama looks great.
