Lе Rochefort 1787 by moreplovac - scale 1/36 - port yacht

Recommended Posts

I used the Hahn method for frames and have spend many hours on my LeRo and in the end I’m going to scrap the entire project. I made serious mistakes in haste because I didn’t want to cut each frame piece individually. The joints of the frames keel and keelson are very very  critical. I succeeded with my Blandford section by doing the frames piece by piece and the correct way. I didn’t want to spend the time doing it on this model with bad results.  By all means glue up the frames over the template leave them all

larger all around and sand to shape.  I’d hate to see you in the position I am in.

Thanks Tonphil1960, appreciate your comment

I am just experimenting with Hann' method for one or two frames. I already cut all my frame parts, sanded them to correct thickness and spent some number of hours working on them so will continue following Rochefort practicum.

Wanted to see how this will work since people are talking about a lot :-).
