US Brig Syren by Doug from Kiowa - FINISHED - Model Shipways - 1:64

Recommended Posts

Started this build over 3 years ago. First time building a wooden model so I had to learn a lot of lessons. Plans are very comprehensive and the accompanying book was quite helpful. Got the hull and decking done about a year ago, then put it on the shelf for awhile.  Started back up 8 months ago and now working consistently. Really didn't know what I was doing, so relied on the book and plans to get this far. Still have many questions.  I am on the standing rigging now, but almost done with the lower main and fore mast. Would love any feedback provided.

Welcome to MSW Doug!

From the photos the model looks lovely.   Maybe some closeups would be better if you are looking for input on anything specific.
