That is a lovely looking Spit. Really nice to see a “clean” one that has not been weathered too much. :imNotWorthy:

Great model beautifully made. The clean finish is so nice, in some picture it looks like a real one.

One of my fondest memories is sitting in the cockpit of a Spitfire at the Farnborough air show when I was a boy. For the longest time my mother had kept a picture she took on that day but with all the moving around I did once I joined the military and her passing away over 15 years ago the pic has been misplaced. The Spitfire is my all time favorite WWII aircraft (I particularly like the sound of those Rolls Royce Merlin engines!). Along with the Avro Lancaster, they epitomize the excellence of British engineering throughout the early 30's and 40's. I do not possess the experience and skills to even consider finishing a kit like this (your work is exceptional by the way, a real joy to behold), but there is no reason that I can't learn, right?? I am going to save this build, if only for the reason that I can come back and look at the amazing work you did on the interior before the whole thing got put together.
