I did manage to get a few stays on today, then the sickness come back and yhe left hand started to shake just a bit to much 🙃 😅.  Break time. @vvvjames thank for your well wish, @tmj you know how modelers tend to  great exaggerated  the size of thier ship lol my next build will be a Wasa and it is only 38 inch lol. Still bigger then the Harriet Lane. 20260106_145222.thumb.jpg.360ee288b6b161e284017c0a7d7bd00e.jpg

At least you are honest about size! I too try to avoid exaggeration whenever possible, however. I'll never forget that that time when I caught a Brook Trout in this little, teeny, tiny mountain stream that was 'Thisssssssssssss' BIG! 😮

Just when you think you got it mastered,  sickness and life have taken it toll. The running rigging is completed,  just have to add a few rope coils.

My favorite helper got this camera for Christmas,  this is the first time she plays with it, want to take a picture of the Harriet Lane. It prints out a little black and white picture,  pretty cool.

Hopefully I will get better soon,  omissions have been made because  of my shakey  left hand. Lol. It doesn't shake as much at 1:75 scale  I find, so as soon as this little  Cutter is done its 1:75 scale for at least 10 years. More on that when I open a new logs

Take care my friends,  build on, there is just so much information here on MSW,  freindly people  willing to help great site glad  to be part of . You can follow  along in the logs and biuld  anything you desire.

Have to rest a bit Sea all soon.

I'm sorry you've got to put a stop to her, Bob. Instead of immediately jumping into Vasa why don't you kickback in your easy chair for at least a couple of days and watch TV and take lots of naps.

That is some very great advice,  Kieth , I am taking  some major steps back.  The Frist Mate is in agreement,  so  I will dig into the research of the wasa, mull over my opinions and head out on what every  adventure awaits.  I usually start another log 10 minutes after the last one , this time I am taking a longer break.

This will be a great model to do, can't wait to start, lol. Nothing is glued, so it doesn't count as a start.  :D

'Trying to recall which Vasa kit you're starting (I'm in love with this ship - partially because we have most of it preserved in Stockholm).  Now if I had my 'druthers (after finishing as far as I intend on the old 1:100 Billings version), I'd get BOTH the Billings and Caldercraft present versions (both are effectively the same scale) and utilize the best parts (for the detail concerned) to make one ship model.  Pricy, yes, but when 'bucket list' items are concerned ...

Completed builds:  Khufu Solar Barge - 1:72 Woody Joe

Current project(s): Gorch Fock restoration 1:100;  Billing Wasa (bust) - 1:100;  Great Harry (bust) 1:88 ex. Sergal 1:65
