I added a set of stairs where the fifth one should be that also messed up the location for the boarding stairs. I am moving them between the third and fourth cannons. One small change can affect a lot of other things. Mike 41 Posted January 13, 2015 Author Share #127 Posted January 13, 2015 I have been working on the head rails. The drawing showing the lower knee made a good pattern and fit nicely. The upper knee drawing did not make a very good pattern so I divided it into three pieces using the drawing for the end pieces and used some modeling clay to form the middle section. I carefully removed the clay and traced the outline on a paper pattern after some trimming the center section fit. The plans provide a template for the main channels showing eight shrouds but the rigging plan only shows seven. I am going to use eight.
