Yes, I am familiar with dementia, my mother. It is a scary condition.  Gwen and I have been discussing it quite a lot lately.  She at 78 years young is concerned about herself because of her now more occurring forgetfulness.  I am thus very busy doing research on it and what natural medicine we can use to help our brains from deteriorating.  Thankfully we both seem to be doing quite well now with supplementing our all organic way of life.

I will see you on your new build log, whenever I can.

Looking good Jan and a smart move too - - - closed.  On the other hand . . . . . when ship is in port for some work the lids could be open for some fresh air below deck with guns run in.  But that would require a lot of extra work on your part.  Maybe a few then? 😉

Nice progress Freek.  On the soldering, why not silver solder?  It's low temp with a small torch, works great and much stronger.

I have a project on my wish list to build a mini model of a VOC or Staten jacht in a 6 inch globe of a lamp.  I will try to follow your build to learn.
