  1. The rigging is coming along great. I used a paper template behind to get the lines right. You are so close to the end. Keep at it. regards kevin
  2. Two bronze cannons recovered from the San Vincente, a Spanish galleon scuttled in 1797 in Trinidad when the British over powered the Spanish and took position of the island. They fired the ship at anchor so the British could not get the cannons. the sheaves are Made from Lignum Vitae from blocks taken off the same wreck. Cannon ball was also taken from the wreck.

  6. I am keeping tags on this thread as part of my research is to find some data on dutch ships in 1677 in the hope of one day making a model of some sort. I have all of Ab’s books and was at the Rljka museum in May and stood next to the Rex. The museum was a WOW. below is a photo of the film Tobago 1677 where the Dutch fought the French resulting in 20 wrecks in the harbour.
