    Thanks so much Greg. Yes, this is not a race, it is a hobby. Rushing can make the job unpleasant.

    The holes in the bulwarks are for attaching the eyebolts of breeching ropes. I drilled them with a hand drill. It wasn't very easy, but I managed to do it thanks to my hands not being too big. It would have been much easier if I had drilled these holes before gluing the planks in place.

    I am attaching the breech ropes to the gun carriages. I'm almost half done. On the other hand, I'm producing rope, eyebolts and eyebolts with ring. That's why the progress is slow.

    Since I will have a lot of detail to do on the gun deck, you can easily beat me even if I don't go on summer vacation.

    I am watching your build with admiration. I use the method in the photo to stop ratlines from pulling the shrouds. I clamp the shrouds between two strips of appropriate width using clamps, so I can maintain the distance between the shrouds. These strips also help to keep distance between the ratlines same. You may want to try it in your future projects.

    Thank you very much. I gifted four of my finished models to family members. I keep two of them in the living room of my house.

    All cannons were mounted on the gun carriages and varnished. The next task will be rigging of the cannons.

    This is how the cannons on the gun deck will be seen in the end. Gun tackles will be added after the spar deck beam support knees are installed because gun tackle hooks will be attached to the eye bolts on the knees.

    I have started painting of the gun carriages. I mixed red and yellow paints 50-50. Some friends may find the color of the carriages wrong (pinkish), but I tried to capture the color in the photos taken on the real ship. I think the paint on the carriages on the real ship has also faded over time or the photos taken may not reflect the real color. Despite everything, since these cannons will be under the spar deck anyway, the color will not stand out too much.

    Thank you Greg. First, I cut the wheels from a dowel to the appropriate thickness with a table saw, then from a smaller dowel, I cut the pieces representing the axle extensions and glued them to the center of the wheels with CA. I glue these wheels I prepared to the carriage axles. Lazy job

    Thanks Greg. The micro mill is a tool that every modeler should have. Thanks to it, I can do many tasks faster and more accurately. I am using Proxxon MF70. An excellent machine, I recommend it.

    I am adding the cuoins, transoms and breast pieces of the carriages.

    After seeing the last photos, I understood your problem, but the truth is that I had the same problem and, just as Jon said, I fixed the problem by increasing the width of the planks in that area when laying the next planks.

    If you do the edge bending the planks in the bow section of the ship, you will see that the planks fit exactly onto the bulkheads and you will get a smoother surface. As you can see in the photo, I do the edge bending with the help of an iron. I wish you a Happy and healthy new year to you too.
