I dont know what it is about this kit but it makes me want to build it again! I had some seriously good fun. And it looks like you are doing the same. It's looking real nice and sharp. Top work. I do like the doors to the boiler room. Thumbs up!

Fantastic work. I do love the very intricate carvings and the sails set the bar even higher. Top job.

Hey! I never did the gold trim around the bow peices! Now I wish I did it looks much better than mine. Awsome craftsmanship.

Exactly as the methods discussed. Keep adding sanding dust until you get the right consistency. It works a treat.

Thank you kindly jean Pierre, Don and zappto. After the Christmas rush I will be starting another build. In between all this im also moving into our brand new house we have just built over the holidays and I get a brand new model room!!!

That is one beautiful looking job. I think I had about 75mm of green strips left over. Your almost at the gunports hatch covers stage and it looks very well done. Just beware the covers for gun ports are two different sizes, they don't look it. Nice job.

Ok. The ship is finally completed!!!! From 28/12/15 to the 20/12/17 it is finished. Every rope and plank. Thank you to all that commented and followed the journey, you sure made it fun. I have photos here but I will take better ones soon for the completed gallery section.
The admiral has instructed me to take a break for a bit. She thinks building is very stressful. Hehe. I find it the other way around. 😊

The railings look great. Your not wrong about the fitting of them. On my profile pic you can see my King of the Mississippi. I did enjoy building her and you look like your doing the same, Great work.
