I use a wood glue called tightbond. It has all of the properties of wood glue but it sticks real fast. Faster than your normal carpenters Wood glue. It helps alot.

I use the pencil method as described and with great results just luke Russ. Instead of doing each plank individualy, I clamp 10 or so together and color all of the sides. Alot quicker.

Well its been almost two weeks away from my most loved Friesland. Been missing it. Have just received word our job is complete here in Brisbane and are now scheduled to fly home to Perth tommorrow!!Two weeks early!! So looks like an update may be in the pipeline sooner than expected.

Looks like a nice clean little build.
Don't forget to fair the bulkheads before planking.
The photo instructions look good.

Great job. I do love the washes you do. The ships boats on my Friesland are stacked like yours, With NO plans for chocks between the two. Now after seeing you scratch your own chocks I will take you up on this idea and do the same Beautifully done.

What a massive, Detailed build. Looks superb. I do like the rings for the breach ropes and gun tackles.
