    Hello yes open a log,people go out of there way to help here.I just did a Santa Maria first time builder and with the help of MSW and the logs I pulled off a good ship, mistake yes, but so much fun. 20 you say I wish lol

    HELLO J,I can't help with which model, but lots of people here can and will help you lots. I pick the Santa Maria from Amati then ordered five more ships and one in a bottle, be careful of the buying bug it will get a hold on you Lol anyway

    Hello all got my Sea of Galalie boat today can't wait to start it, I have been buying way to many tools and models so now I have to do some side jobs, I am a journeyman painter and everyone wants their place painted be for freeze up, and I got the Inside of a church to do so will be busy till Christmas then I am retiring again lol . I hope I can do some modeling, but I see long days ahead so I don't think I build much till Christmas but will pop in on rainy days lol Take care all my friend's I will miss you lol,

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
