    Hi Joanne, sorry to hear about your brother hope it's not too serious.  Regarding the shipbuilding supplies I live in Sarasota, FL and might be interested in buying some of his equipment if he lives close by.  Please let me know.  Thanks.

    My brother was an avid model shipbuilder before he had to quit for medical reasons. His equipment and supplies are for sale, either in total or individual pieces. They live in Southwest Florida and the buyer would need to pick up the items. I would post photos of his work benches and closet-full of supplies but I can’t figure out how to do it!

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
