I think we are with 4 people almost in the same stage including Matti and Michael with the completing phase of the ship and waiting for the rigging so we can help each other -
It is very nice to see how we all make some modifications to the Corel kit but all results are nice and different. I hope the new book from the Vasa (VASA-II) concerning the rigging will be issued soon, so I can start and verify the rigging. Looking to your status of the build we are almost in the same stage of builing now

after one week in bed with the flue started today again I have started with sawing the figures from the malls. very difficult as this is a hard metal still 20 to go

@ Jan: the attirbutes are already dry-fitted before I fixed this one. I know now that I need some extra fillers inbetween the figures as the figures dimensions are not exactly correct due to some changes by me. further ordered some extra attributes to replace the dolfins as delivered by Corel(Corel partnummer D304)

indeed very nice movies, I have seen these already before and my daughter then saved these movies on my laptop for later review. only watching is already a pleasure. If I could see he movie with English subtitles would be more perfect. I assume this can be ordered by Amazon or equal webshops as I do not see a weborder possiblity at the museum shop

starboard side is now also painted. in order to get going on, I have already glued some attributes in front and rear side (as an activator for my self to continue after this holiday period )

Your are write Matti, I realized now that for some items I should have started earlier with the painting, but that has happend, so now I am painting some parts even with one hair pensels. last stage for the main hull has started.

This Brass Black is perfect for making brass parts black within seconds. I usually do some liquid in a small old cup and after use I return the liquid back in the bottle. this works now perfect for over 3-4 years now. I assume you found a local supplier for this (used also in wappons, so a wappon specialist can also be of help for this) wishing you and all other regualar visitors all the best for 2014

today some small things done: preparations for the waterexits and extra belaying points continued with the rear and some paintings (special for Matti )

started with the rear part some extra openings in between the canon openings belaying points prepared and modified, right original from Corel, left modified

looks good Matti, I have just been verifing the same items, as these are also on my list to do during this holidayperiod. I prefered also the blue version.

Some small items done today, before evening diner with my inlaws some details in the front extra blocks in the railing sockets for the masts prepared

I am everytime surprised about your beautiful modifications to the basic Kit. Everytime I think, yes I should/could modify that also.
