  1. excellent work! It's just a pity about those wood grains that are too obvious
  2. you are too good to me! As Socrates used to say, I know I don't know, and for every job I approach I never know if it will be acceptable or if I will have to start over again. I see so many works on this forum that are truly unparalleled works of art and I am enraptured by the skills of so many of you, and I wonder: how do you do it? it is true, sometimes I am amazed by what comes out of my hands, but rarely!
  3. as innisfree said these are not rectangles: it is the circle of axes made from a small brass rod; later they will be burnished, if I can
  4. Congratulations to you, Greg, and to David for this wonderful model! So beautiful that I have already ordered the two volumes and hope they arrive soon, maybe one day I can emulate you!
  5. One source of inspiration is surely the splendid Matiz model!...
  6. you are doing a real masterpiece, a sublime model, a true source of inspiration!!
  7. With these few pictures I try to explain how I do my welding. The parts must be well cleaned and kept in contact. With a brush I spread the flux all over the part to be soldered. With a flame soldering iron I heat everything around until the flux starts to boil. Now it is time to apply some of the solder, which is a silver-based rod. Care must be taken to protect soldering joints already made with a heat-insulating paste
