Thanks mine is o.k. from a distance. There are real amazing builders on this site. If it wasn't for them I would have lost with the instructions.

Great job, once annealed I found it easy to shape the brass.

Sounds good, I found the same with my Endeavour. So many variations and repairs made changed things depending on what materials the crew could find at the time.

A couple of touch ups to go then the cat heads.

Mock up of the Boomkins  knightheads and hand rail. Putting away in a safe place, hopefully to be found again. Figurehead next hope I don't get cross eyed. 

Thanks Allan, The gratings fit together as a square block then cut down to size. A little bit more progress.

I just anneal profiles that need a significant degree of bending. A lot of the brass strips required are straight so are fine as supplied, just needing to be cut and finished to length. I put off doing the bow pieces that run from the Catsheads to the top bow rail until I'd had a bit of practise on the stern. These two need to curve through 90 degrees and also flow around the hull's curve. Should be fun!

A little bit of progress after a break. Poop deck ladder etc, fire buckets, beakhead bulkhead. Carronades next.

Wow they look great, you must be very proud of your Victory. I would just get a chair and a coffee and look at it for ages.

Poop deck, bit of a disaster for the skylight. It's a good day when you find a missing part.

I got 8 on two separate sheets. Bit weird, did they put the odd one on another 4mm sheet ?

Thanks Alistair, I'm trying. The boat kits come with it, the planking is 0.5 thick so bends easily. Everything I touch at the moment breaks so lots of glue. 

Start of boats, I can do them in breaks at work.  Cat tails started, going better once I realized the bend on the parts 131 and 64 are supposed to match the camber on the deck. 

Beautiful work as always. I seem to be breaking everything I touch lately. I would be lost on my Victory without your photo's  thanks a lot, Ron.

Cannons etc, onto cat tails next. Sit back and take it in now. Varnish jobs to do as well.
