  1. Wow, very nice Doug. Great to see your work again.
  2. Thanks, small mistakes from early on showing up now but can be fixed. I didn't find the gun ports linings to bad, just gentle with the 16mm walnut. Only a few linings lost into the hull out of 288. Hope I can do a decent waterline mark out. Ron.
  3. Starboard gun ports done, now to carry on the production line port side.
  4. Wales done now after a break, onto the gun port linings. Rudely interrupted by going to work.
  5. Very nice work, I liked my Occre Endeavour but found the dimensions in the Occre booklet did'nt match the plans. So lesson learned go by the plan sheets for dimensions.
  6. Thanks lol, I'm trying but a lot of other Victory builds on here are amazing. I get a difficult piece and think it's a mess but by the time I use filler and later on paint it should'nt be too bad. I do enjoy most of it.
  7. Good one, thanks a lot. I managed to find some 1.5 x 2mm, all good now at the hobby shop. Must have a look at your builds to check my wale line for the top position of the bottom Wale.
  8. Replacement castings from kit supplier. Hobbies.co.uk have been great getting these for me. Looking at using some 1.5 x 1.5 walnut supplied in kit for waterways but worried about running short later on. Has anyone finished theirs and had spare left over? Thanks Ron.
  9. Wales next, paint later on after finding something for the waterways.
  10. Gun ports linings on,dry fit camber beams. Next clean up gun ports, sanding, painting.
  11. The cast piece broken off wasn't in the plastic bag or I could of just glued it.
  12. Thanks for the advice. Need to file my ports a bit more yet. The wooden part sheet is being sent. I was waiting for the Amati kit but no idea when that will be available.
  13. Found more broken parts. Quality control is poor. No answer to emails to Jotika but supplier of kit has been very good.
  14. Inner port linings trimmed at the bottom. Onto the upper deck once I get my tennis elbow surgery done.
  15. Major sanding today, Happy with the hull shape now. Thanks Graham, I spend lots of time looking at your great build log.
  16. Closing in a bit. Cut planks until waterline then whole lengths as I will copper the hull.
