Have you purchased any after market fittings for the yards (except the styrene strips) and what kind/type of them?

I shaped all my yards many days before but (as I remember) I was stuck with the way to fix/attach all those metal material to the yards.

Some pics from my initial attempts to tie ratlines to the mizzenmast shouds...

I'm quite satisfied with the results, wait to trim the edges after the setting of the pva-watered glue to continue (more securely) upwards...

For the futtock staves I'll use a rope-wrapped wire and I'll cut to length.

For the placement on the shrouds, do you suggest to use any kind of knot or to simply glue the staves at the proper point and height?

Any idea on what's the right height to place on the shrouds the futtock staves?

I'b about to start the ratlines rigging and I'm thinking to follow the every 4th ratline rigging (to avoid the shrouds misalignment) but my main concern is the right timing and placement of the futtock staves....

A coupel of usefull (i think) pre-purchased tools for the rigging. I really can't understand the use of the right upper edge...

I've found a relative interesting tutor-video for the ratlines...

Thinking about the ratlines, what kind of knot to use fo the outer shrouds, cow hitch or (like the inner shrouds) clove hitch?

In the other hand, I still have nt understood the right place and importance of the futtock stave...

Lower shrouds rigging finished.

Now I'm about to start the lower ratlines.

The lower fore mast and bowsprit dry fitted in place.

The bowsprit is ready to accept the gammoning....

Forget exactly what I did, but I would advise fitting the futtock stave in the correct position before you do all of the ratlines - that would allow you to adjust slightly the separation of the ratlines so they finish correctly at the futtock stave.  I just trusted my eye rather than working with scientific precision.

I've seen that you've used a 4mm plank as a step for each ratline.

I' ll do the same (I'm not sure if I'll start right after the dead eyes top) and in the end I'll place the futtock stave (as a rope served wire)...

Mizzen mast stay and mouse....

For the mizzen mast laynards, I used natural 0,25 line...

This is from my latest progress.

Some paint/trimming touch up is needed of course...

For the lower main mast I 've applied natural wax to the 1mm shrouds Vs the unwaxed 0,75 lower mizzen mast shrouds.

I'm not sure what's the best option, for the moment...
