Hello Jerry Well there you go, starboard side completed and of and running on port. Shouldn't take you long now to get over this laborious task. My build has slowed up. All the hull work is completed, and I have started on the masts. The bowsprit is finished but not assembled, part prob. Not a happy chappy!. I am halfway through the fore mast. This is a nice place. Ok away you go get those tiles clagged on. Regards DAVID

Lawrence I only used two of the profiles, as both myself and Derek s (ocean clipper) found it hard to tell the difference between number two and three, so I used only number one and two. That said, again will the profile look to big on your ship. The size is 3mm x 2mm. And then how much will you need ?. I really cannot hazard a guess, but two lengths will definately not be enough even with you ship being a smaller scale, so don't order them until you are sure you will be ordering enough. I thought you got a taffrail with the model kit. DAVID

Greetings Jerry Looks like things are going pretty well, yep it's looking good. Its a tedious job and The ca fumes are a bit of a problem, so it's do a few then walk away for a while. My worsted problem is the less haste thing, I have just messed up on the gunport lids. I think it's the age thing as well. Keep enjoying your build. And have a cracking holiday. Regards DAVID

Hello Jerry Hope all is ok, as I said I primed mine as did others to highlight any defects. I used as you say EVOSTIK and had no problem with it. You can see were Chris is coming from with a barrier between the ca and the wood. It all looking good. When you posted I was looking for some photos showing how the tiles start to narrow off under the water line as they start to reach the curve of the bows and stern you should be able to see this start to happen as you work your way along the waterline. . I also found it best to keep my runs of tiles wider above the ones below them if you follow. Keep enjoying it . Bed time here DAVID

Hello yon I wish my buckets were as good as yours, yours look pretty good to me. With a bit of luck I may be able to adjust the hooks to make mine presentable. Yep the barricade looks ugly, and I was hoping to find an alternative , or as you say not fit one. Your work as always is excellent , it's coming on fine. Regards DAVID

Greetings all Well once again thanks for all your replies. I have come to a standstill on my gunports as alas I am short of eyelets for the lower gunport lids. I only need 30, which Derek forwarded to me, but sadly royal snail failed to deliver, and they are also out of stock at CMB. Do any of you chaps know any other company who stock caldercraft spares, I have used one before but cannot remember who it was. CMB told me they would have them in stock next Thursday. So the much of a muchness photos show the starboard side only short of its lower gunport lids and canons, which will complete the hull work. To fill in time I thought I would have a shot at making the bowsprit and the boomkins . I used a david plane and sandpaper and found it pretty easy, but appreciate they are the simplest. After looking at this jiboom and flying broomstick stuff I realized this is we're I was going to need a lot of help from somewhere and also you chaps, Please!!! One thing that is going to be a great help is...The anatomy of Nelson's ships by C Neplean Longbridge which has approx 120 pages on the subject of rigging the Victory. The last photo shows one of the fold out drawings showing the rigging of one mast, and I think the detailing is excellent. Enough promotion, here's a few photos. Hopefully these will be the final photos of my hull. Here we go. Thanks for viewing . DAVID
