Interesting, it's no Byrne's saw, but it beats out my DIY Dremel table saw that I made last year!

Definitely agree about the Byrne's comparison, but it is a lot cheaper. Looks like the body has been made from laser cut ply.

Hmm... earlier today when I went that link, the price was in the mid-70's.  Now it's 53 Euros... huh????

Ok.. this is a Chinese company.  The blade is about 2-1/4".  There probably are blades out here which if you order several will cost more than the machine itself.  It's pretty small and has no features any of the other saws might have.   Just saying... beware...

As for that multi-mini lathe, there's review of one around here on MSW somewhere.  Overall, I think the reaction was pretty negative.

I looked at the reviews for items randomly on the site... funny... even if there's thumbs down, the products got 5-stars.

That little saw actually kind of scares me.  No safety equipment and as far as I can tell the blade is not adjustable for height at all.  I don't think I'd want that on my work-bench personally, as cutting plank thickness stock with the blade sticking up that high seems a bit scary to me.

The Proxxon KS 230 is a bit more pricey, but still very reasonable. It is much more substantial than this 'toy' and does have safety features.

An old dremel table saw with a 4" blade can be had on ebay for less than the asking price of this one.  Anyway you cut it the Dremel table saw is a much better deal.

My advice and comments are always worth what you paid for them.

Have to agree with the above. I had not really looked closely at the rest of the pictures and assumed that there was a guard in the pile of bits for self assembly. I don't think the H&S boys would let this in to the country. And the old saying applies 'You gets what you pay for' . Still worth a discussion though.

It's obviously a poor second to the Horror Fright "Mini Mite table saw" alternative.  (Sorry, this site won't permit pasting the URL... go to "Harbor Freight" on-line catalog and use their search box.)  I have one of those and it's pretty much gutless for sawing and offers poor accuracy unless you want to start modifying it.  It lists for $37, but with the usual Harbor Freight discount coupons and all, can probably be had for $29.  Comes with regular and a diamond edged blades about 4" or so.  I bought it on a whim to play with.  I ultimately cut a flat disk to mount on the arbor and glued sandpaper to it.  It makes a serviceable disk sander, but I wouldn't advise expecting much from it as a table saw.

well that's a cute little thing but the throats to large ,the blade is non adjustable, there is no guard etc etc .......and im not sure why they decided to make the arbor so long instead of putting the bearing block closer to the throat?.......a finger chopper now in my opinion but they are close to something usefull maybe.
