I sure did a happy dance.  There were two small leaks which are now patched up and nothing fell apart in between soaking and drying.

When she's complete I'm looking forward to taking her out to the bay at low tide and letting her sail between sandbars.

Sandbars? What are those ?

A sandbar is a raised area of sand.  At high tide around here they are under water.  At low tide many of them are above water and appear as Islands or larger land masses.

Looking good! This is one of those builds that sets it apart from the rest because you took what you had available and turned it into something other than chopsticks.

Thank you Bensid54.  Building with raw material at hand is quite an experience.  In a Zen like way I think it gives me a better understanding of shipbuilding.

It’s been a busy week.  The deck is almost complete.  The first color of paint has been applied to the hull 

and a mast has been test fitted.
