French Battleship Charles Martel by Haze Gray - 1/72 scale - Radio (plastic 3D printed)

Recommended Posts

Very cool. I'll wait and see the end result then, and if you have cast offs, I'll see where my "wife would kill me" budget is sitting.

I have a Creality CR-10, so I can accommodate 300mmx300mm pieces without issue. For detail parts, I have an Elegoo Saturn. For when things need to be really nice, I have brass and a jeweler saw!

Thanks for the reply; I really can't wait to see the end result.

Stash:

Revell Beagle 1/96 (unlikely to ever get built!)

Revell Constitution 1/96

If at first you don't succeed, buy some more tools.

Seeing your preliminary work with “Masséna” motivated me to send words of encouragement.   I built this ship in card/paper in 2014, and had great fun with it.  It was a challenge, but it provided many hours of enjoyment.  For myself, the unique characteristics were an endless source of fascination.  The design features of the early French Predreadnought warships take many twists and turns, none more so than “Masséna”.
