Seaman Recruit Pherigo Posted September 15, 2018 #1 Posted September 15, 2018 Hi, All Where to start. Ok, then let me start by saying thanks for letting me join. I am on a mission. Over last weekend here in STL, I went to the IPMS Gateway Chapter's modeling event and found a very good deal on a Revell USS Constitution 1/96 scale model for 10 bucks. The kit was used and old. What was started some started paint the gun deck and had taped one of the hulls at the waterline. No big deal in my book and everything else was accounted for. So after studying the plans I thing I can build this mastiff ship. I only have every built and painted models car on the 1/24 & 1/25 scales. So after doing some home work on the internet. I read some good threads here on building, so I thought I pick some brains on how to do the rigging for a better finish than what I think the kit's rigging will give. So my mission is to build this American Icon from the past. I will start a build thread if I can do that, being new I don't know if that is aloud or not.
