Jahno Posted September 30, 2019 #1 Posted September 30, 2019 (edited) Hey there! I'm not new to ship model building but am still a novice. I have built the Armed Virginia Sloop and the picket boat, both from Model Shipways. I am currently working on the 18th century long boat. Still scratching my head about the garbord planks. Do I taper them gradually or as the picture shows more not so much. If a "sharper" bow curve is used, it seems I will have to curve the next plank somewhat "unnatrally". Any input?
