Rooting around in the loft looking for a certain book I came across these figures, they are a few of two Warhammer armies I used to game with many years ago.

Just thought some might be interested 😉20201201_220746.thumb.jpg.d202ba2e46840828751355ffd7f08e2b.jpg

They've all been painted with Citadel acrylics

I never won with the Goblins but always had fun losing 😊. I think though that I enjoyed painting as much as gaming.

Nice!  Funny you mentioned this - my parents saved some fantasy miniatures I painted 30 years ago as a kid.  Recently I found them in a box in my basement and put them out for my kids to take a look at.  Surprisingly they held up well all these years.

Same on both counts. They always wanted to be the good guys so that left me as the other side. Goblins of any kind were just fodder to be trampled over by anyone passing through, but sometimes I would make them bleed a little if they got careless.😈

Yep, if the dice were kind those crazy fanatics could devastate even the best troops although they could also do the same to your own troops😁

It's  basically tabletop wargaming with fantasy armies, set in the Games Workshop  Warhammer World.

Turn based combat, movement and missile fire. The rules can be figured to suit most historic periods from ancients to horse and musket/black powder era. For great war onwards Warhammer 40,000 could be utilised.😉
