Hello from Colorado

Recommended Posts

Hi, names John, I live in Colorado. Been into modeling most of my life. Plastic stuff. Found Slot Cars, now I have an 85 foot Digital track in the man cave. Always have loved the old wooden ships, and the models of them. Decided I might like to try my hand at building one or ten.

Im a total noob at wooden ship modeling and miniature woodworking

Welcome to MSW, John.   I suggest you read this topic first:   https://modelshipworld.com/topic/13703-for-beginners-a-cautionary-tale/   You'll find a lot of good insight for a beginner.   Also read the other pinned posts pinned at the top of this forum.   As questions as needed as there's no such thing as a stupid question.    When you're ready, open a build log as it's a great way to get answers to problems with the model and also to meet other builders.
