Hello from Dundas Ontario

Paul Le Wol

Recommended Posts

It’s been over 30 years since I built my model ships. Both were Billings Boats.  One The Bohuslan and the other The Bluenose.  That is way too long between builds. Recently I purchased a Cheerful package from Syren.  Hoping to soon have some content to share with the community.

Regards……..Paul

Welcome to MSW Paul.

I understand there is a great modelling club in the Hamilton area (Confederation Marine Modellers) and then ours down in the Niagara Region (Model Shipwrights of Niagara) if your looking for a monthly connection!

Welcome Paul!  I grew up in Dundas.  A beautiful town.   Dundas trivia For the benefit of other readers, Dundas had a significant greenhouse operation up until the 1990s which exported cacti around the world.   Billing itself as Canada’s Cactus Capital  the summertime Cactus Festival was always a fun time.

Currently building:

HM Yacht Chatham - 1:64 - Caldercraft

Hi Patrick and Haliburton, thank you both for your welcomes to MSW. I agree Haliburton  , Dundas has a rich history of shipping, canals, and commerce. Interesting place.
