Ya so I'm gonna put in about 20 plants or my top deck skylight will look stupid, and I don't like the tiny size. I'm just going to put end walls in from kit but leave the back open to see ribs..trying to run a light to do both sides of rear wall..grooved wood to suit...me hopes

Assuming the round holes, which really should be six or eight sided, are for the pumps and the square holes are for the bitt pins, why would you want to block them?   Your photo shows you have the contemporary drawings.  Do you have the deck drawings as well?  https://www.rmg.co.uk/collections/objects/rmgc-object-86459 has all of them.

Can anyone think of other stuff I could add?

Maybe hammock battens on the sides of the deck beams where they were normally secured and a few hammocks hung from those battens?

Ya great ideas..I found that scale hammocks kinda look a wee crappy..hard to make look neat

I agree that they are very hard to make at most scales we see here, but as you are showing so much fine detail inboard, the battens themselves would still be nice touch as they are rarely seen on models.

On whatever decks there were hammocks would be appropriate.

These lights are great ,but to not see wires is ticklish.  I had to run a couple right on rib 😩 so I'll have to put a laminate on both sides of rib..one side not to see plywood and the back to bury wire..oh well

OOOKAY for anyone who wants large amount. Like upwards of 6. Guys ya gotta run them wires ,and let me tell ya...OMG..I've flipped this puppy more times than Sunday AM eggs....

EDIT::::I just became aware of something very useful..simple yet useful..I was trying to run these micro wires everywhere.Meaning I needed the $ of all longer wires and trying to wrap 18 ends 9 red 9 black...so this AM I went out to shop..got 2 lengths of 24 gauge. Drilled 1/8 holes in ribs for it to go full length..then I marked on it where each nano wire came out. Stripped.put back in and wrapped the nano wires around where appropriate. Now my battery and switch are just at one end.. not worried bout juice cause 9 wee wires would easily use 1  24g

I'm trying to get an idea from artesania,,,,har har...as to whether the nails go just into deck. Or deck and cross beam? I assume the first..I'm just stripping randomly.  Hope it won't bite. Would love to know which edge alignment was most critical
