Bill Tuttle Posted February 6, 2023 #6 Posted February 6, 2023 Check the resources page of the Nautical Research Guild. There is a wonderful article on building one written by Phil Krol. I built this years ago and it turns out beautiful rope. The motor I used was an old Enesco Dental Drill motor which you can always find on Ebay. It is easy to use and there are several tutorials on YouTube to help. I use 100 per cent cotton thread by Gutterman found on the Wawak website. No frizzies either!
