Wow, the paddle wheel looks great.   I imagined it was a bit larger until I saw the picture of your hand holding it.   That was quite a project on its own.

Thank you all for your comments, likes and wows. @gsdpic your right, every piece is another project in and of itself self. Now it’s back to the windows and doors on the Main Deck. Remember those?

Seems so long ago, but these models don’t finish themselves, do they?

Steady as she goes…

That said, I am headed back over to The Red Jacket for a while. She is begging me to pull together those masts and spars.

An enjoyable catch up John. A huge amount of work in that paddle wheel, very impressive.

I really like the midship walls are looking... and thanks for not asking for any detail shots.. we are sitting at -38c right now..

No worries, I think I have the pics I need. Maybe next spring, when it gets up to Zero  😆 BTW… those pictures were great, they got me to this point. Thanks

I have been in -40 degree weather on Indian Moutain in Alaska at an Air Force Radar site. What are your windchills?

We had signs posted that said exposed flesh would freeze in 5 seconds. No body was making any yellow snow. LOL 😆

Frosted my bronchial tubes snow showing into a radio beacon shack. Fun times, stay warm my friend.

John: We are sitting at -42c this morning with a wind chill of -52c -Jeep is still running but we arent doing any sun tanning today! Kidding aside, if you do need more pics do let me know as the Klondike is still accessible for pictures. We are getting only 4 hours of daylight but I can get over there around lunch.. but keep the jeep running! 🙂

Thanks Mike I do appreciate you being my guy on the scene. You can keep an eye on my build and let me know how I am doing. I really don’t think I will need any more photos until maybe we see some progress on the restoration efforts, which I am sure won’t be until spring. Meanwhile a drive by would be sufficient, stay in your jeep. 🥶
