Hi! I'm autistic and my current special interest is started kit building and painting!

I'm probably doing it all badly, but I'm having a lot of fun!

The irony of starting a hobby to get away from screens and then to join an online forum is not lost on me :D

Well put! I find that when model building, I am in that state which some call "being in the zone" where you can keep everything else out of your mind and time flies by.  And it is real fun!

Welcome and enjoy!!

I agree 100%. When I am building a kit time gets distorted and an hour goes by in what seems like a few minutes. The downside is that it is a great way to shorten your life.
