Ops, be a good boy now, and clean your room :)

Its easy to make a bit mess when working, not so fun to clean up.

I always viewed the Dragon as a most beautiful design.  There used to be one moored at West Mersea (Essex, UK) back in the fifties when I sailed and canoed there, and it was always a great pleasure to paddle my canoe round her and admire the sleek lines.

I seem to remember that Uffa Fox included a long mention of the Dragons, with pics and scantlings, in one of his big, coffee-table type books about yacht design.  I used to borrow his books from the local library in the late forties, when I was twelve or thirteen.

Your 1:12 scale model is exquisite!  Well done!

(sigh!)

Brian

Current build  -  The Workshop.

When that's done, I'll get on with Constructo's  'Enterprise 1799'.  http://modelshipworl...ructo-wood-151/

Previous builds  -  La Petite Nella (aka the AL "Mare Nostrum").  http://modelshipworl...blynot-al-wood/

                         -  a 1:8 scratch-build of 'Anastasia', my old sailing kayak from back in the 1940s.  http://modelshipworl...-my-1949-kayak/

(plus a couple of real canoes, 1:1 scale, more than 60 years ago)
