There were also added brass rings on the sides of gun ports for rigging and tackles. I finished other railing on bulkheads.The crew members come from yacht Royal Caroline and were made in a scale 1/40. They are here only for a short time for an excursion...😄

The low railing is completely made of wood due to its higher strength:
 

 

And another bulkhead completed and placed in model.... The brass bell is not my own product, it is one of few things on the model I have purchased as finished accessory.

The carriages were placed into the hull separately and then I added cannon barrels to them. It is possible to move and set them as necessary.

To Rob:  I learned all my techniques by myself without any form of formal instruction or education but I was also inspired by the work of other people from whom I also learned many useful things. And still try to learn new ways to do things nicer and better. My skills are natural although it took many years to improve these skills and achieve such results. Nothing is withouth hard work and effort.
 
 
No problem, I can take some pics next time and post here. In fact, the process is still the same as I mentioned here before, so you can have a look in previous posts, where you find some of my pics from applying these foils.

There are plenty of new things on the model. I had to modify my pics and add my signature to protect them, cause some manufacturers used my pics for commercial purposes to offer their second-class goods. Customers have seen pictures of the finished model with my own decoration, but the manufacturer was selling them something completely different.

They use photos without my permission and cheat customers this way. It pissed me a lot and at first I wanted to end up with a public presentation of my work.

Doris, what a magnificent  job on the cannon and carriage but you are missing a few photos between No 1 and
No 2, Do you think you could show some of the processes of applying the wood foil on the carriage?

Just found time to check things out Patrick. Lovely work, I particularly liked the fleet photo, a few years of hard work and dedication within a square foot or so.
But...where is the gold paint?

Love the ship. The advantage of building in the scale that you do is that you won't run out of display room. Some of us that have larger scale ships can be a bit of a problem of where to put the ship. 
 
One of your picture shows a king bed. I think the yellow tie dye sheet is very cute.

Hi Patrick.  Looking forward to your OKTO build.  Seems like you really like the radical look.

Will you add the lights too on the OKTO? A lot of builders are adding led into their builds ... you could do it with fiberoptics ... like Dubz on his battle cruiser (Star Wars), and you build your models in just the right size for it  

Love it but not the price per week...    Way out of my vacation budget.

I showed the brochure to my 5 yo daughter. She said "That's very fancy. I hope it NEVER sinks." So you have a vote of approval from the two of us!

Man you do like a challenge Patrick; look forward to the build log.
