  1. No Greg, The frieze prints are in two parts, but I believe I can do a much better job second time around trying to make it as seamless as possible, and I still have the portside to start.
  2. Headworks on the starboard side almost complete, I think i will remove the hair bracket friezes and replace them to try to better match it all together so the seams are less visible.
  3. I’m sure your model will be as excellent as your scratch work is. Yes - Holly lower planking.
  4. Thanks Rusty! Glenn - no secret, just many hours sanding it off using 120/220 sanding sticks and a few small diamond files.
  5. Cannons well on the way to completion, still no finish on them. The head parts were painted black ready to fit the head rails. All the windows in the stern and QGs have been installed along with their “glass”.
  6. Yeh - TFFM is based on the plans of Atalanta, that’s why there is a couple of decepencies between it and the NMM Pegasus plans. It seems each of the Swan class vessels had slight differences between them.
  7. Simply Beautiful! I notice that you only modeled the beam arm with the single fore one as per TFFM, not with the double fore/aft as per the NMM plans for Pegasus - but it looks simply fantastic either way.
  8. Look at and use the plans to place those stern frames correctly, all the dimensions and angles can be taken right off them to do the job correctly. i.e the dimension from the level of the keel to the top of the frame height is one you can use, also the distance from one of the bulkhead top frames back to those stern frames is another. Its all right there.
  9. Unfortunatly I won’t be going now! Wife reminded me that we had prior plans for that week 🙄😞
  10. I used 1/2” MDF and used T-Tracks on the outside - see the 1st page of my build log for a good pic.
  11. Congrats on getting to this significant milestone! You now get to do some of the more fun stuff!
  12. Work on the cannon carriages, port lids and head works is all underway! No finish on the carriages yet.
  13. Welcome to the group! You will certainly build some muscles up when you start fairing the Baltic Birch Ply! That stuff is tough!
  14. Rudder has almost been completed and the bow-tie and horse shoe plates installed and the “fake” bolts attached. I need to make and install a couple of eyebolts to the spectacle strap to finish it off.
  15. Work on the rudder is underway in Swiss Pear and Gabon Ebony to match my other frame accents.
  16. Thanks for the likes and kind comments. I decided to go ahead and make the rudder trunk and seats as well as the two ladderways. These are some really beautiful laser cut and etched parts that go together and look fantastic when finished.
