LEGION 12

First I hope I am doing this right my first build here , I can only hope it comes out as great as all the builds I have seen here. I have had this model for a long time and this place has given me the motivation to get it built . I started drilling out the portals and sanding the hull , and debating on getting the Photo etch detailing set for this ship never used Photo - etching before. 

This build has been an inspiration to me , I hope to someday build a model that looks half as nice.

What are the odds!!!!!!!!!! I have that same kit. While I have my doubts that it has much resemblance to the actual Cabot, no one can really tell what she looked like, it should be able to make up into a pretty nice model of a Continental Brigantine.

 

If I could be so bold I would suggest looking into Chuck's practicum on building the Sultana. They are very similar models and this kit could benifit from the same modifications.

Great to be here my name is Rich and I live in Burbank IL . I have built a few models in the past mostly plastic kits , a friend gifted me this and hope to be able to build it , a pretty old model and I'm sure everything is not there . But maybe some of you folks could steer me in the right direction when I get stuck Rich .
