That's quite the bend on the keel, at least you can bend it back into shape. I will follow along on this one as well.
Good luck on your journey.

Hello Brad, on my Amati Nina they go through the mast and are tied on the deck with three hole violin blocks, then tied to the fife rail. Hope this helps.

Peter, I believe that you can . I think you put your model in the scratch build area, under the right year. Then tag it "Restoration" If this is not right the moderators will change it LOL Good luck on your journey. Welcome aboard!!

David, I looked at a lot of St. Roch builds today the ones that look the best are just in line with the portholes. I even went to the Vancouver Museum web site, their St. Roch portholes are even with the rubbing stake. I think they look good.
Can we lower the rubbing stake just a bit or do you have to raise the portholes.
I would go for a little tidier than accuarcy but I am a newbie lol.

Glen that is awesome. I had to stop cleaning the shipyard and go show the First Mate . I should be back modeling in 4 or 5 weeks . She said to tell you " your so talented " and she agrees with all of us what an amazing build. Can't wait to see you top this ,but you will lol.
Great job.

Sad news Paul. You should post some pictures of your Lady Nelson to see where you are at. There are some excellent logs for the LN on MSN, follow a few of those and you be on your way to getting her done. Good luck on your journey,
