Looking great! I'll be starting one soon, so will be following closely. Planking looks top notch... what's the support/stand you're using?

Will check out the builds you're doing. This is my first wooden ship so trying to keep it straight OOB for the meantime while I find my feet! Having said that, I'm here to learn.

This is a kit I’m interested in building. The only thing that puts me off is the odd shaped hull. During builds it always looks like it’s wrong!
I know what you mean. She's s bit "pot bellied" and at times I thought I had the hull formers in the wrong order! She comes good though!

Capn, welcome to MSW. The Victory is gorgeous and the weathering on the sub is very nice. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Thanks for your words or welcome, Keith. I've done a few more plastic ships. I might post some pictures of the Victory build soon. Its the Heller 1:100 kit which is quite popular but somewhat challenging.
Currently into the HMS Terror, my first wooden kit and I'm hooked! I going its wood from here on in! (Apart from a 200 scale HMS Rodney which is on my to do list!)
