  1. Thanks for the link Geoffrey, indeed the right figures for the Huckleberry Finn steamer. Regards, John
  2. Nice job Adrieke, the wiring gives such a lot of extra work, but I am sure that at the end it will pay off. Regards, John
  3. Thanks Adrieke. Thats part of the fun of modeling, it appears everyone has his own approach leading to the same result. As you can see I have used the railings with the extra bar to make sure that there remain enough without that extra bar to form the outer railings. Regards, John
  4. Thanks Sjors, these all belong to the 3rd deck. Salute Ferit, thanks for your compliment. Regards, John
  5. That's a lot of painting indeed, you did a nice brush job. Regards, John
  6. Ferit, you have done a very nice job on the capstan. It looks great. Regards, John
  7. Sorry to hear Sjors, but it is a wise decision to put her in drydock for the time being. After a while you gathered enough courage to fix her. Have fun with San Ildefonso in the meantime. Happy holidays. Regards, John
  8. Sarah, planking looks very well. Nice progress. Sorry but cannot advise you on the bulkheads, but sure you will get a reply from our more experienced builders very soon. Happy Modeling. Regards, John

  10. Time enough to find an appropriate answer to that Regards, John
  11. As a matter of fact, to my believe it makes no difference whether the knobs are at the left or right side of the door. It all depends on the interior of the cabins which is unknown/lacking in this built. Regards, John
  12. Adrieke, I have all the doorknobs on the left side. The doors are swinging in to the cabin, otherwise you surely will fall of the stairs Regards, John
  13. Hi Jared, the logs look as they ought to be. Nice job. Regards, John
  14. Looks fine with the second deck in place, nice painting as well. Regards, John
  15. Nice progress Mick. Sorry but I have no idea in respect of the stairways (not very helpful ). Regards, John
  16. You have done a very accurate job in an inventive way. Next job is being a toolmaker I presume . Regards, John
