  1. Evening all, more work on my build - I have been detailing my wall measuring the brick spacing then engraving the mortar gaps. OC.
  2. Lovely work, the cockpit area was my fave part when I built the Revell version some years back. OC.
  3. Evening all, the missing pics from yesterday, also I have started on the wall using Two thicknesses of wood joined together, it will create a left angle wall stepped down on the long run - with bricks scribed into it. OC.
  4. Evening all, bit more of an update - no pics as phone batt dead again, any way I have been cleaning up the extension to the wood store sanding it level with the existing part, I have also created a false floor to bring it up level with the raised ground (for when I start my ground works) I have also put a coat of PVA over it to lock the wood fibres in ready for painting. OC.
  5. I have been busy again today - I have knocked up the extension to the log store and scribed the tiles (was tricky with the angles) it looks White (it will be later) but its just the same light pine look wood I have been using for the porch - patio etc - its just dry fitted in the pic. OC.
  6. Some impressive work you are doing there Phil mate - not easy by the look of it. OC.
  7. Hi mate, looking forward to this - are you tempted to do a dio out of it using some figures? OC.
  8. I agree with the others - sutch a lovely build - and the canopy is superb. OC.
  9. Morning all, I have done a chack of things still to do - I still have the - Wall to build that goes in front of the patio I just put down. Extension to the wood store - side - front and roof, and raised up floor. Work on building a graduated slope where the kitchen garden is - using layers of typing paper. Fitting my Grass mat over this area. Make and fit the hedge that goes from the stables to my extreme Right, level with the stables. Purchase some more French 54th and 55th Line reg troops - paint weather - top coat then place these in the orchard. Put some odds and ends like loose hats - muskets - backpacks etc scattered around. Cut the French Cuirassiers off their bases and place the other side of the orchard hedge. Place my pile of French casualties at the entrance to the Barn. Finish off making my other single British Cavalry needs painting etc - then place him the other side of the garden hedge. Place the Lunebourg division remnants in the garden along with a few 5th line KGL wounded. Then make the trees and fit them in the courtyard. Any any other bits of touching up where needed. So yep quite a bit to do yet. OC.
  10. Evening all, some more progress - I finished painting and weathering the cobbled patio, and glued it in place, I have also done a wee bit more weathering to the farmhouse, I will blend things in even more so as I progress with the ground works. OC.
  11. Morning all, just to show you the sloping I need to do by building up the kitchen garden, I have borrowed these pics of the net, one also shows the location of LHS in relation to the British line (to the left) OC.
  12. Checking some old photos and stuff - looks like I have a bit of rectification work to do to the wood stoor at the end of the farmhouse at the front of the stables, as it does not protrude enough it needs about another Two scle feet adding to it, it will also need a new front and tiled roof extension. OC.
  13. That sounds like an Excellent idea - loves my dio - s. OC.
