  5. Hi Adrieke, long time ago I popped in. It's good you're better, sorry for my delayed message. You've done nice work on the Mississipp .
  6. Hi Sjors, Thank you so much, sorry for the delayed response. I just finished the floor, it was too hot to hurry and also too hot for modeling. Waiting no for some lower temp (not too low off course ).
  7. Thank you so much Anja and Adrieke . Hope to be back soon, first a new floor in the living room.
  8. Hello Adrieke, At the moment both projects (Creole and Turtle) are on hold, too busy on the job and so. In July I have two weeks vacation....first some maintenance of the house and if there is some time left I will restart modelling ships.
  9. Hi Jan, Nice progress you've made. If the handrail is too small in scale, it's maybe better to consider not to make one.
  10. Hi Adrieke, Haven't been here for about 8 pages , too busy on the job and so . You've made nice progress in the meanwhile and I'm sure you will fix the lights.
  11. Suzanne, thanks for sharing these photo's. I think it's a good decision to keep the King of the Mississippi as it is now.
  12. Just received the same terrible message. We will miss John here very much as a friend and as a passionated builder. I wish his family a lot of strength in this difficult time. John, farewell.
  13. Robbyn, those shrouds are looking great, well done and in a short time. And I like the color of that hot rod, nice car indeed.
  14. Hi Anja, It's good to see some photos of the Half Moon again. Who's counting all the planks? Anja does
  15. Hello Rowand, this is really your first kit? She's looking great. Waiting for more updates.
  16. Very nice progress John, mainstacks are really great. Sudoku is one of the skills required for modeling wooden ships .
  17. Nice progress on the stacks John. Does the brass rings fit to the stacks? I had the problem they didn't fit.
  18. I hope this link can help you too: http://modelshipbuilder.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?6046
  19. Happy birthday Anja. Enjoy your trip to the UK, a present from Sjors I suppose?
  20. Thanks for looking in, it's appreciated. @Tophog You will have fun with the build, it's a pleasure to build her. Good luck.
  21. Again nice progress Adrieke. At her maiden trip for me a "Leffe donker" please . By the way: on the real riverboats the 3rd deck was indeed luxurious and on several photos I have seen it was not common to have an innerstair on 2nd/3rd deck.
