I echo Bob's sentiment! I try to catch a log before it's already over with, but here you are planking your already formed hull! Very impressive. Looking forward to following the rest.

Hi everyone,

Many thanks for good word and Likes!

Today's update:

Best Regards!

Igor.

P.S. Mike, long weekends and non-flying weather provide an essential increase in the rate of construction :)

I like the method of using pre-colored wood for your planking above and below waterline - seems like painting that small would be a lot of extra time and trouble. Looking really good! And, you're a pilot? (My question comes from your comment about not having good flying weather....)

Hi Ben,

Yes, this method allows me to get the flat and smooth waterlines and the strips. I never can to draw them exactly.

I fly a paraglider for almost 20 years. And my first flight was on a hang glider in 1986

Hi everyone!

Many thanks for support and your interest to this project.

Today's morning update - one more winch. Now for the RS-1

Unfortunately I do not have the reliable drawing of this winch, so I trying to do something similar and appropriate size. I have some doubts about the size. It seems it's a bit big for this boat.

Best Regards!

Igor.

HI Igor, it's beautifull. I also like the color of the boat. I'm thinking of starting to build 10 lifeboats of the Vespucci. I'm also thinking of sending 5 of them to you and 5 to Patrick to help me ... After I saw your little gems,I think that's a good idea.... :D :D

Dimitris

Hi Dimitris

Sorry to hear about your Hard Drive. It's typical of modern technology, I guess....'it's great when it works and a real pain when it doesn't'...

I I hope you can get it sorted soon.

Cheers

Patrick

Igor, all winches seem to big to me and then they get stuffed way up in the bow where there is no room to get around then.

Careful, Dimitris.  If they build the lifeboats you might get them back in a bottle and can't get them out.
