What kind if line are you using and the source? And what species of wood are you working with?

Hi David,

I use these threads for rigging

And I used for this model the planks of the light pears (0.5x0.5 mm, 0.5x0.8 mm, 0.5x1.2 mm), the planks of the pink pears and bamboo toothpick

I knew google couldn't translate Russian, it's Dutch translations are just as horrific!! That needs some serious interpretation ...!!! Thanks Igorski

Next, I need to set the upper part of the hull on its lower part, to raise the mast and to pull the rigging.

The next step - I pulled, glued and cut the threads of the running rigging. I used a small tool that was made for this project.

Hi Igor,

So another of your small jewels is complete and at rest in her bottle, other than the seal of course!  Really enjoyed this build and love the look of the "waves" in the bottle.  Seems to allow the ship herself to stand out more.

Lovely work and congratulations!

Cheers,

Nigel.

Igor,

I've tried to work small, but you really make exteraordinairy tiny builds ... and the wonderful thing is, they still look like ships/boats ... I don't know how you manage to realise such a feat ...

Hi Carl!

Many thanks for good words!

I think really it just looks so complicated, but it's not very difficult. All you need to do - just try to do it. And I am sure that you will do it also succesfully.

Best Regards!

Igor.

Your English is very good, you just do not know all the expressions, which is normal. A blown bottle or glass, used to be made by people blowing on pipe with glass at the end, thus forming a baloon shape which could be used for lamps, bottles, and other glass objects. Nowadays it's done by machines, which make every bottle identical, and are less a health hassard
