Hello to all. I live on a small island off the coast  of Colombia. I have built many plastic models and some wooden planes many years ago. I do have experience  with woodworking. Run a large furniture factory in Cameroon Africa. Hopefully  that will help. I was thinking as my first project to build Modelshipways ms1457 starter kit. Any advise would be helpful.  Thank You

Welcome! That particular kit is a popular beginner's project, and there are plenty of finished examples here on the forum. Very interesting place to be from, San Andres Island -- I had to Google it.

Cheers!

Beat to Quarters -- Any name you can share by which we can address you?

Took a quick look on the 'net about San Andres.  Your island has had some interesting visitors, from Columbus to Henry Morgan.   Sounds like a beautiful place on earth to be living.

Welcome to MSW!!!
