Your work mon these little guys becomes ever more fantastic.

It is good that you don't line them up for display, then they would be ducks!:D And we all know that they are weasels.

Thank you, Alan.

Next things made are the backrests of the seats and the shielding over the exhaust.

The shielding is made of brass mesh (the mesh comes from a filter)

Windows.

I use the resin window as "mold"

First I cut plastic strips and a piece of aluminum is the base on which the strips are glued together.
The glued plastic does not stick to the aluminum

cut loose

5 windows

20220105_190034.thumb.jpg.8f3e5f9629b88a31509ae2b9fb61c190.jpg

I first paint them green and then glue on clear plastic sheet.

I cut away excess clear plastic and ad windshield wipers

You must feel as proud as a newly minted momma with all those perfect little weasels Patrick. Quite the accomplishment, at least in my book. Makes me want to go out and track down the old Monogram kit and build it again after something like 55+- years! Just what I need another kit on the list. Thanks for the trip down memory lane........ at 1/72!

Thanks for comments ( and likes) much appreciated 👍.

Next is the ambulance.

I don't think there was a standard version of this. Most seem to be field conversions and no 2 look alike.
So a use a photo as an example, with some free style additions.

The build of these models started a long time ago, was stopped and forgotten. They were found again and are finally finished.

I spent my time looking at this build in awe, enjoyment, and sometimes jealousy. Thanks for bringing me along for the ride Patrick. One of the times that riding in the back seat was fun.:D

A full platoon at a time... each major variation....  Excellent work my friend...  they match my fathers WWII pics perfectly.... he didn't have all the variations but the Basic Cargo, Ambulance and Improved Amphibious Cargo were all ones he actually drove, they look beautiful....
