How to see all profiles builds

Others with more experience or knowledge may be able to better respond to this, but my suggestion would be, since everyone should have their user name as a part of the build log title, on the HOME page, to put the user/profile name in the search box and, on the next screen's "Search the Community" page, click the "xxx in content titles only" link just below the "Didn't find what you were looking for?" question.  Maybe that will isolate the list to just that profile name's build logs... Good luck!

@GGibson If he wants to see a list of a specific member's builds, he can just go to that person and ask them for a list. This community is all too happy to show others their builds. I tried your technique, and the issue is someone might have posted in one or multiple non-build log forums, or may be referenced in logs other than their own.

This seems to work though it can be refined if needed.  Click on the "More search options" button, the click on "topics" and "content titles only".  When you select "topics" it will show a new drop down in which you can select the "build logs for kits" and "build logs for scratch built" forums to further limit where it searches.

Find a post of the person of interest.  Placing the cursor over the name or the cartouche opens a window.  In the window is a link:  Find Content.

Click that a scroll the list.  On the entries where the person is the author of the post, check to see if it is a build log.   Not efficient, but it is through.

Yes, thank you for mentioning this! More exactly, every build log should have the member's exact username in the title. But some of our members are more "free-spirited" than others. 😉  Our build logs are currently getting some long-overdue attention to their formatting and tagging issues. There are thousands of them to check, so the task will take a while to complete.

Thanks everyone for your help.

I tried your method Gary and it works well. Like you said, if you select titles while having their name in the search bar it comes up with only their builds.

Not quite the same as a drop down in their profile, but it’s good enough.

Thank you to Greg as well.

Very similar technique. I think this must be the way to do it.

One other way I thought might work is most people have all their build logs in their signature and can find them from there. This doesn’t always work as there’s still a lot of people who don’t have this or it’s not up to date.
