The enclosed Pic. shows how I finished off where the masts go through the deck. I believe it is called a Partner, which I shaped to fit surrounding features. I have one rat line completed and it took a fair bit of time especially tying the individual knots. bobc622 Posted August 9, 2020 Share #50 Posted August 9, 2020 This is looking very good. I was given a kit by Atresia Latina of the Endeavor with the bulkheads and decks installed. I am trying to correct some of the errors made before planking. I have only one parts listing sheet showing the lazered parts and I believe there maybe more listing the planking etc. Am I correct? Also, my instruction book showing the photos is a faded black and white. Does your book contain colored photos of each step? I am very happy that you posted your build as it gives me more information on how to plank this model. Where did you go to get additional planking? Thank you. This was a great project but you are right that the instructions could have been more detailed. The best thing I did was buy the book called the “Anatomy of the ship-Captain Cooks Endeavour “ by Karl Heinz Marquardt. This book became my bible and it showed all I needed. I got two instruction books in the kit,one with black and white photos and one with descriptive wording on each stage. If you like a copy of the second instruction book I could send them to you in a seperate email if you want give that to me.
