  1. From the picture you posted the original Italian is very clear, obviously it's Italic boats that have gone to fish in Greek waters, no doubt about it !!! Mauro
  2. Hi Thanasis, would be interesting to investigate whether the fishing boats photographed in Greek ports are Italian boats that have "unlimited" in the Aegean Sea or used boats even by Greek fishermen. Mauro
  3. The sail was already included in the kit, in this case I had to work it a little to make it similar to the original. I used normal acrylic paint to paint the decoration on the canvas. Mauro
  4. Hi Thanasis , I do not know if the paranza pushed to the Aegean Sea in fishing trips, their shape makes them good boats for the shallow waters typical of the Adriatic Sea, poorly adapted to sail in the open sea. But I can not exclude that in some cases some sailor more "adventurous" has been pushed to the Greek waters, even while surfing not too far from the coast. I take advantage of the 'opportunity to congratulate you for your wonderful models of traditional Greek boat, an encyclopaedia for images on the Greek maritime culture. Mauro
  5. For a few weeks he's building a model of paranza , typical boat of the Adriatic Sea. The kit of Corel, actually the end result will deviate from the original project because I want to build the fishing boat "Mirella", the museum boat sea of Cesenatico. That's what I want to play .... Mauro
  6. I finished the planking and I almost finished painting the hull, at the same time I'm building the cutter of the brig. The kit provides only 2 boats metal, it will build 7 (as in the original) using very thin strips of wood. Not sure of being able to sell all the boats on board, maybe I'll have to discard some. Mauro
  7. I built a small boat to lay on the deck, in the coming days will clothe with strips of walnut. Mauro
  8. Thanks Bob, we hope that the sailors did not drink the contents of the barrels !!!!!!!Mauro
  9. Hi Carl, you're right, I'll have to pass a piece of rope on the barrels to simulate the binding.Mauro
  10. Thanks Nils, I do not know if the barrels will be seen in the finished work ......... I hope so !!!Mauro
  11. I finished the cover of the bridge and I placed some barrels in a part of the hold. These barrels will remain visible in the case of the hatch opening. Originally I wanted to leave visible on both sides of the hold but I decided to place over the hatch a small boat, so on the one hand the hold will remain closed over the boat. Mauro
  12. Hi Matija, for the deck I used strips of European maple.Mauro
  13. Hello Doris, congratulations for the work on your model and best wishes for your new job working !!! Mauro
  14. Hi Matija , I have the kit of the trabakul, and soon it will build even I, needless to say I will use the pictures of your wonderful work to try to make a model like yours, congratulations !!! Mauro
  15. Thanks Hartmut, follow with attention your model, all the boats typical of my land interest me very much, especially those that are made by modelers in other countries. Good luck with your Pinco.Mauro
