Sounds like a fun concept, coming up with your own design. She's going to be one of a kind! This will be fun to watch

I agree, she's looking good! Good luck on the bowsprit rigging! (I just hope I can do as well as you are doing

Nice decking! This may help with hull planking http://modelshipworldforum.com/ship-model-framing-and-planking-articles.php. Good luck!

Check the keel parts against the plans and see if they line up. Something is off if they don't.

There is nothing wrong with basic questions! I do believe you are supposed to sand the burn marks. Good luck!

Here is where I'm at as of tonight. I've started lining off the hull, doing vertical lines first. I started with Kurt's idea, but I had another idea, based on his. I used tape to draw the lines, and will fine tune them once I have the vertical lines done. I also noticed my stern holder was a bit crooked, and I couldn't let it bee, so I took it off. I cut the glue away and re-glued it on. I will continue work when I can. Please tell me if I am doing anything incorrectly. Here are the pictures.
P.s. I've only marked these lines on the starboard side. I will mark the port side once done. Happy modeling everyone!
Until next time!

I wouldn't mind spending some time in that room
. Maybe the remote got lost in one of those chairs? I would check in between the cushions. Great job Patrick!
